My name is Odessa and I'm a Costume Designer based in Vancouver BC.

 

What I love about Costume Design is turning ideas into reality; creating new worlds. I am a nerd at heart, so I have a passion for designing science fiction and films with magical realism. I enjoy the way we can explore contemporary themes indirectly by placing them in unfamiliar settings.  Queer stories hold a special place in my heart.

 

I find the strongest films have a unified vision and to this end I enjoy collaborating with producers, directors and production designers.

 

I am a very hands on designer, I'm not afraid to get dirty. I work hard to bring the best out in all members of my team and to realise our vision.
